Steve McGough is President and Chief Operating Officer of HCSS, a leading provider of software specifically for the construction industry. Steve began his career in the construction industry 30 years ago and has been with HCSS since 2006, where he has seen the company grow from 60 employees to nearly 200 today. Steve is currently the ARTBA Central Region Vice Chairman and a member of their Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Additionally, he is chairman for the Membership and Development Committee, has formerly served as their Materials & Services Division President, the Western Region Vice Chairman, and received the Paul F. Phelan Award in 2012. Steve is a member of The Beavers and currently sits on the Board of Directors for TRIP, a national transportation research group that promotes transportation policies that help relieve traffic congestion and its impact on air quality, improve road and bridge conditions, make surface travel safer, and enhance economic productivity. Steve received his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and his Masters of Business Administration from Tulane University.
Tom Webb is the VP Strategy/R&D for construction software developer HCSS of Sugar Land, Texas. He has 23 years of experience in software technology and 19 years in the construction industry. Since joining HCSS in 1996, he has served in a variety of positions, including programming, technical support, product development, and research and development. Tom has launched numerous new service initiatives and product offerings, which have exposed him to the nuances of construction business practices and common issues.
As a member of Google’s Small Business Advisory Council, Webb is plugged into the technology industry and is knowledgeable about current technology trends and how they impact the future of construction.
